Thanksgiving Day Late Report.... It was a fun trip for a couple hours jumped from piece to piece we end up with 40+ fish keeping 20 fish.

Ok we have been hitting the wrecks when ever we can.... Half day full day full crew or just captain and mate .... I'm not sure when I last posted for the charter boat but Blackfishing has been good ... you have to work for them we have been catching 6 fish here 12 fish there etc .... We have been limiting out on most trips some easily some working real hard for the fish and some times the mate may have to drop a line and put some fish in the box for the customers ..... with all that being said we are sailing every Monday Tuesday open boat....... For the serious Tautog Angler . The " New " Jersey Hooker will be running Tautog Marathon trips 12 hours of black fish..... Leave the dock @ 5 am and return @ 5pm. This trip is $150 per angler + tip for the mate. It is customary to tip 15-20% the mate is there for you.

Tuesday the 17th jumped on the boat late afternoon 2-2:30 with a pal of mine and pops I wanted to practice anchoring the new boat because I do not have much experience using a windlass and also how the boat will set up on anchor ...... It was a huge success I managed to land the boat rite on top of a sunken army tank ........ Now the blackfish bite was red hot my Pops took a nap and me and my buddy managed 20 blackfish to 8 pounds throwing 4 back .... We were just shy of our 3 man limit. For a last minuet trip I am very happy with the results.

We will be running charters from Pt. Pleasant and Waretown Very few Dates left due to such a short Tautog season.

Also reserve your spot every Monday and Tuesday Open Boat Blackfish limited to six anglers . Sailing from Canyon River Club Marina Pt. Pleasant 100 per man + tip for the mate Most Fishing spots, lines are in the water 15 minuets after departing.

We are going to be sailing blackfish shared and private charters out of Waretown and Pt. Pleasant New Jersey the blackfish bite is insane rite now the only problem is you can only keep one fish per angler after November 16th it will be 6 fish per angler.
